The bCODE MediaPlane is a customer-facing, wirelessly connected Point-of-Sale or Retail Self-Service device that allows your customers to scan their bCODEs and interact with the associated applications.
Upon the scanning of a bCODE, the MediaPlane’s scanning algorithms will securely and reliably decode the credential, and then goes to the cloud to check the authenticity of that bCODE. Upon success, it will fetch your customer’s information and use that as a secure transaction token for the relevant Mobile Commerce application.
That Mobile Commerce application (eg. Mobile Promotions, Payment, Ticketing, etc) will then be published to the Adobe Flash enabled touchscreen, enabling your customer to select, interact and conclude the transaction.
